Here we go ... It's Monday morning November 1st and the first piece of steel is going up...this will tell us just about what kind of problems we might face and it basically said "NO PROBLEM" and the rest of the sheets went up without a hitch.

Victory... mission accomplished and look...it's still plenty light out and the roof is on...not only is the roof on and the siding...let's look inside and see what Larry's been up to
Yep...try as we might we could not get ahead of Larry...he just stayed focused even when things got a little hot at times
With the Mission at hand being accomplished and still so many days left...what else are you going to do?...well how about we get the loft built?...and how about some insulation?...and some lights and some doors and some paint and drywall...holy cow...what progress!!!!
Finding a way...even when we'd run out of something as simple as a light fixture someone would find a way to get by such as the image at left proves...when Larry needed just one more light fixture...one was found in the old chicken house...it looks great and I am for never changing it. And the outside light above used to light up the driveway just over the gate to the old farm house.
The door ... that separates the kitchen from the newly built North Wing is about to be installed but not before some drywall and sub siding is removed by Steve shown here peering in from the other side.
Larry and Steve had accomplished more that they had set out for and although we still have plenty to do here on this mission...we can't thank them enough for all that they did...here's a shot of them just before leaving for South Dakota to hunt some pheasants which they did that same day ...however there are many more pictures of these guys yet to come so stay tuned...
