Next on the list was the redo of the living room flooring...plastic, 3/4 treated plywood, on top of that...1/4 plywood cross direction and then the laminate floor went down for hopefully the last time...it feels pretty good and looks pretty good also.
From inside the bunk room you can see for the last time the metal as it is now covered with spray foam insulation...a job that I don't care to tackle again anytime soon.
Friend Dean Huppert from back home brought Susie these flowers a couple of days before we headed up here...they still looked good when it was time to head home so Susie gave them to Jackie Smeltzer on our way out
Susie and I finished up all of the trim in the living room...baseboard, crown molding and the widows too along with the door seen here.
Below is a photo of Susie, Beverly and Delbert...they have become wonderful friends and also treated us to lunch at the Chocolate store restaurant in Bisbee one afternoon. We can see Bisbee from the lodge up north about 6 miles.
Honey bees last year...this year hornets...Delbert and I walked up to it and I said "I kind of wanted to hit it with a stick"...he said" I doubt we could out run them"...I said "All I have to do is ...out run you"
Right and below...Just West of us there was a large amount of Sandhill Cranes that were present the whole time we were up there making all kinds of racket...and you would see them up in the air soaring about quite often also.
This was ran in the local paper...
This Moose track was spotted on the road that runs by the farm here...
The last morning just before we headed into Bisbee for breakfast I spotted this fellah off in the distance...so we drove out into the field there in hopes of getting closer for a better picture...look below for the results.
Above...I shot at these ducks with my camera...got them!
