Sure they (grandsons, Jake and Dalton) were plenty high enough up the tree that a fall would have surely ended them up in the doctor's office at the least but they were told that if they did wind up getting hurt that they were on their own....

Dalton...either he has cleaned up his plate here or maybe he hasn't even started....who knows?

This will have to work as the "GROUP SHOT" of the second crew as it is the only picture with us all together...Now that first fella to the left there is Cosmic Ray from Winnipeg (who has not missed even one of these lodge excursions) and then to his left is his favorite son Nate...they had to leave Saturday so Nate could play in some hockey game...can you believe that?....Now the rest of everybody you should be able to figure out!Now I am not about to try and say anything more about this crew as the last one but honestly...what an awesome job you all did here the last part of this venture...the walls are basically ready for paint and trim...the ceilings are insulated and just look again at the sun shining in on this crew...proof once again that we are surely blessed by the Almighty!!!

I don't know...it's just a weed I suppose but...it has struck a fine pose here and I just couldn't let it go without taking a picture of it...I could use my imagination a bit here and make some sort of correlation between this one lonely plant out in the middle of the North Dakota vastness and my Great grandfather's first stand here perhaps alone at one time by himself early on in his quest to homestead this partial of Towner County more than a hundred years ago....
