Susie in a tee shirt...at the computer...in a bin...in North Dakota...in October ....this was taken after the first crew left and we had some time to straighten the place up a bit...
Brandon looks down through the top of one of the bins here...he opened up the hatch to...believe it or not...it was too hot inside this day...
Brandon...yep...all over the place, up and down, in and out...hard telling where you would find him however...he was always working on something, building, cutting firewood, electric with Larry, cooking with Susie, cleaning up whatever...he probably had something to do with ever task attempted up there...
With what was left of Tuesday and then all of Wednesday and part of Thursday October 29th before the second crew arrived Brandon, Susie and myself set about getting everything ready...like the car siding ceiling boards in the living room...we finished that up pretty late on Wednesday evening after insulating the living room walls and finishing up some nailers around the two windows that Dan and Larry had installed.
With a little help from LeRoy...we had light and wind from that fixture...
One night when the living room was ready for the night...insulated walls...carpet...beds made...oh yeah...
It looked like a dark cloud at first...then it was apparent what it really was....looked like about 10 million geese to me!
And then it went down some more....
I'll just finish this page up with this picture of Delbert and Beverly...they have been friends of our family since before I was born...Delbert came out to the lodge a few times to check on us and also was good enough to let us fill our water buckets up at his farm and loan us a trailer hitch for a spell...
