This is the only picture taken from a quick trip up and back in September 2017. So we just couldn't let the next couple groups come up without taking care of a few things first. So I picked Vince up at his house at 5:00 an Thursday morning the 28th and with only 2 stops we were at the lodge in less than 15 hours time. Vince wanted to get right to work with things...me...I just wanted to eat supper and go to bed. It was a bit cool up there so a couple of extra blankets were thrown on the beds and we had a pretty good night's sleep before getting up early Friday morning. We took out for Bisbee for some breakfast at the Chocolate Shoppe and then back to the lodge to get the day started. Lucky for us Jackie and Kelly Smeltzer brought over supper for that evening other wise we probably would have died...half way through the day Vince noticed that we had a tire going flat so we ran into town and got that fixed...visited with Mary Belzer, one of Babe's granddaughters while they fixed the tire and then back to the ranch. Finished up our work around 9:00 pm and then called it a day. Up at 3:00 am and out the door heading back to Indiana. Got home a few hours after Susie got home from Miller's Merry Manor where she had been in rehab for the last 2 weeks and that is the end of this story.
